Brand new chip from Banks, the Big Hoss. This is the ultimate customizable tuner module, with 5 different levels of calibration, giving up to +120 hp! It is not a universal chip, it needs to be programmed for your specific vehicle catch code. Unlike the other sellers, we burn the chips in house, meaning we do not need to send out the chips to CA to get programmed. The chips can also be reprogrammed, so if you want a higher power level, you do not need to buy another chip.

Please Note: for the above applications we need your Vehicle calibration code. This code is located on a tag on the inside doorjamb of the driver's door. If the tag is not there or illegible, remove the black plastic box covering the computer, located under the dash to the left of the driver's feet. The code tag will be visible on the back of the computer, facing toward the rear of the vehicle. (Code example NVK4)

(Vehicles with automatic transmissions) Banks' electronic braking device automatically activates when conditions call for braking. SmartLock locks the torque converter and simultaneously raises transmission-line pressure, to smoothly reduce vehicle speed. Besides saving wear-and-tear on your service brakes, SmartLock prolongs automatic transmission durability by increasing its holding capacity, eliminating excessive clutch slippage, and cooling transmission-fluid temperatures.

Banks TransCommand

This fully automatic power and load sensing computer electronically converts the Ford E4OD/4R100 transmission into a heavy-duty unit. The E4OD/4R100, in full size Ford trucks and vans since 1989, has smooth, car-like shift characteristics. However, many truck owners would prefer firmer shifts especially when hauling large loads.

TransCommand is the quick, efficient cure. The electronic module simulates a heavy load, directing the transmission to raise the hydraulic pressure accordingly. Light throttle shifts are still smooth but firm, while full-throttle or heavy load driving produces solid shifts that are right there. Excessive clutch slippage is eliminated, greatly extending transmission life.

Installation is easy, taking about one hour with basic hand tools. No modifications to the transmission are required. Banks TransCommand is built with high temperature, solid state components and comes with all necessary brackets and hardware. Strongly recommended for all E4OD/4R100 Transmissions. Required with sidewinder turbo.
