Banks Power Elbow Assembly

Eliminates the primary restricttion with a conical diffuser design that stabilizes exhaust flow and draws it out of the turbocharger and into the constant diameter Monster turbine outlet pipe. A domed channel in the Power Elbow streamlines wastegate flow for turbulence-free integration with the exhaust system. Banks Power Elbow assembly slashes the stock outlet and pipe backpressure by 60%. Available separately or with Banks 4" Monster Exhaust.
Banks Brake

Banks' revolutionary design preoduces stronger braking power than other exhaust brakes. The large-bore housing, streamlined to increase ariflow and diffuse exhaust, adds to engine power when Banks Brake is inactive. Banks engineered in a timed valve closure rate to prevent backpressure spikes common to other exhaust brakes and provide smooth operation.
SmartLock Trans Brake (Automatic Trans only)

(Vehicles with automatic transmissions) Banks' electronic braking device automatically activates when conditions call for braking. SmartLock locks the torque converter and simutaneously raises transmission-line pressure, to smoothly reduce vehicle speed. Besides saving wear-and-tear on your service brakes, SmartLock prolongs automatic transmission durability by increasing its holding capacity, elminating excessive clutch slippage, and cooling transmission-fluid temperatures.

The Banks billet Torque Converter provides the rugged reliability you just can't get from a stock torque converter. Custom stator, turbine and impeller improve efficiency and lower transmission fluid temperatures, and furnace-brazed turbine fins add durability. Carbon-ceramic lockup clutch is 33 percent larger to prevent slipping, while forged-steel billet housing is indestructible. The entire assembly is balanced and blueprinted for ultimate performance and smoothness. |
